Lisa Lynn's Frostytini

The Frostytini is a holiday martini that is fun to make, visually festive, and a sweet treat.

Ingredients

For the martini glass rim:

  • 1 tablespoon Nutella

  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Martini Ingredients:

  • 3 oz Tito’s vodka

  • 2 oz Kahlua Coffee Liqueur

  • 1 oz Vanilla Liqueur

  • 1 oz Grand Marnier

Directions

  1. Martini Glass Preparation: Spread Nutella on a paper plate. Sprinkle powdered sugar on a separate paper plate. Dip in the rim of a martini glass in Nutella and then in powdered sugar and set glass aside. Discard paper plates for easy clean-up.

  2. Creating the Martini: Fill a stainless steel martini shaker 3/4 full with ice. Then add all liquids and shaker and shake till very cold, about 30 seconds. Strain the liquids into two martini glasses and enjoy! Makes 2 cocktails

Home Mixologist Choice

  • Any of the ingredients can be substituted with generic or other name brand liquors and will be equally delicious. Both ice cubes and crushed ice work well in the martini shaker. Occasionally you might want a let little of the crushed ice escape through the strainer. I use a Hawthorne strainer which typically comes with the stainless steel martini shakers.
