CookingMama reviewed jen’s Chocolate Zucchini Cupcakes Recipe. 05/14/2015

Wow amazing recipe! Let me try another one JUST to make sure...Yep still amazing! I didn't use walnuts in the mix but I did top some of the frosted ones with chopped walnuts and the others with sprinkles just because I know some were not a fan of walnuts and WOW what a moist and yummy cupcake even the next day! I love baking with zucchini, it's always a treat! I filled my cups half way, left enough room for frosting and this made more than 24, though you wont hear any complaining from my family about the extra cupcakes! :D

I always add a package of dry instant vanilla pudding mix to my cookies. I would rate 5 stars but I did make this one change which made this cookie a 10 star! LOVED IT! I will definitely make these again...but maybe not very often because we ate them all...I'll definitely need another workout this week:)

CookingMama reviewed John Chandler’s World's Best Lasagna. 10/23/2013

For years my in-laws have been fighting over whose lasagna was the best, so I found this recipe and thought "Why not join the competition, I'll give it a try". This was SO good that they don't even talk to me anymore. Mind you I didn't add any pork because my Sis in law hates pork unless it's bacon or breakfast sausage and made me absolutely promise that I didn't add any pork because if I did add pork she would lose her dinner at the table right then and there even if she couldn't taste it. Also my other sis in law had bad gas but I think that was from her being lactose intolerant and not letting me know when she ate all that cheese and ice cream on her apple dump cake...needless to say the event was a flop but hey, there were no leftovers! I'll make this again...for my kids...who loved it the way it was.

CookingMama reviewed GAIL BOYD’s Beans and Franks Applesauce Bake Recipe. 02/09/2013
I wanted to try a new beans and franks recipe just because I had some apple sauce kicking around I wanted to use up, and I'm very sorry I did. My whole family hated it including my little boy. . I followed this recipe except for the onion...which is good cause I just would have wasted a 1/4 cup of onion too. It's safe to say I'll stick to my old fashioned beans and franks recipe. =)

CookingMama reviewed Bea Gassman’s Sweet Polish Sausage. 02/14/2012
We're not a huge fan of spicey and I wanted to try something different with our polish sausage. Instead I replaced the hot sauce with some maple syrup and added a bit of cornstarch and cold water to a jar, shook it up well, then added that to the boiling sauce to thicken it up before pouring it over the sausage and popping it in the oven. The turned out really nice and everyone liked it! I'll definitely make this again, and maybe even try the hot pepper sauce sometime:)

CookingMama reviewed Hellmann's’s Parmesan Crusted Chicken. 11/20/2011
This was incredibly TASTY! No revising done either. Normally most Parmesan chicken I make REALLY takes on a strong flavor of the cheese but this was just so beautifully flavored I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. We will definitely be making this one again for the family. It felt like we were eating at a nice restaurant:D Thank you so much for sharing this!

CookingMama reviewed Julie’s Pistachio Crusted Chicken. 07/20/2011
This was incredible, I'm a big fan of pistachios but I never tried cooking with them until this recipe...it was difficult not to eat them while taking them out of the shells but totally worth it. My husband and son loved it so much they asked me to make it the next day too, and the raspberry sauce that's recommended with it was just YUM! This is now a favorite! Thanks for sharing!

CookingMama reviewed prell2k4’s Bananas Foster Belgian Waffles. 06/24/2011
I managed to stop eating this long enough to write this review...I wish I could have recorded the look on my hubby and sons face when they took their first bite, it was priceless! This recipe is a KEEPER! I served this with the banana foster sauce, I had no pecans so I used peanuts which was very yummy with the bananas, and a dollop of home made whipped cream! Very good! Excellent Dessert! 500 million stars for you, thank you for sharing this, I am now hailed queen of the waffles in my house:)

CookingMama reviewed CASSJW’s Chicken Fried Chicken. 06/24/2011
I can't believe I didn't review this one already. This recipe has become a family favorite and we have made this countless times! This by far is the yummiest chicken fried chicken I have ever had. Just thinking about it makes me want to go make it again! I've used the cracker crumb mixture for other meats as well and it always has a really great crunch to it. Highly recommend this one, I'd give it more stars if I could!

CookingMama reviewed JJOHN32’s Cheddar Muffins. 06/24/2011
Raisins? I didn't add raisins to the cheddar muffins...but aside from that I made it exact and was not a huge fan. They turned out a little dry. I will try adding some ham though because they were quite filling and my hubs would probably like to take them to work for lunch if it were like a muffiin sandwich...a mandwich!
