This was a very pretty loaf of bread, but it didn't have quite enough flavor. Not sure how I could bump that up...maybe some extracts?
It was almost overdone at 50 minutes of baking in dark non-stick pans. So, if your pans are like that, I would check it at 45-50 before letting it bake longer!
I just followed the directions exactly, and there was way too much seasoning! If I did this again, I would skip the worcestershire altogether and then scale back on the salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
I really loved this. Like, I salivated thinking about even coming home for leftovers - it was that good. I halved the recipe and only cooked it for 12 hours. Truly superb!
These were mmm good. My husband actually used the word "Amazing." I used canned pineapple and poured some of the juice into the marinade. I also cooked it all on my stove in a cast iron skillet.
Hmm. This was, ok. Eggplant parmesan is my favorite thing to order when we are eating Italian, and this just was not it. Eh...
