Inflation has been hurting our wallets, and fast-food chains are finally noticing.

Taco Bell recently announced its $5 Taco Discovery Box Deal, complete with a Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, Crunchy Taco, Doritos Locos Taco, and a medium fountain drink.

Wendy’s also now offers its $3 breakfast meal deal with a small Seasoned Breakfast Potatoes and a choice of a Bacon, Egg & Cheese English Muffin or a Sausage, Egg & Cheese English Muffin.

Now, Burger King is jumping on the meal-deal bandwagon with a value offering that fans will love.

Burger King’s New $5 'Your Way Meal'

Burger King is releasing its $5 "Your Way Meal" for a limited time. This deal includes your choice of a Whopper Jr., Chicken Jr., or Bacon Cheeseburger; four-piece chicken nuggets; fries; and a drink.

Bloomberg News reported that Burger King's $5 meal launch will happen before McDonald's $5 version—which includes a choice of McChicken or McDouble paired with four-piece McNuggets, fries, and a drink—comes out in June for one month only.

"Burger King is accelerating its value offers after three quarters of leading the industry in value traffic," a Burger King spokesperson recently told TODAY.com. "We are bringing back our $5 Your Way Meal as agreed upon with our franchisees back in April."

The $5 "Your Way Meal" will be available for several months, and two other value offerings could be coming later in the year. Stay tuned.
