Stuffed Strawberries

These stuffed strawberries are yum, yum! Sometimes, I add some finely chopped semisweet chocolate. They are perfect for baby showers or wedding showers. A plastic sandwich bag can be used instead of a pastry bag, filled with the cream cheese mixture and making a tiny cut in the corner.

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup confectioners' sugar, or to taste

  • 2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur, or to taste

Directions

  1. Cut tops off strawberries; stand upright on cut sides. Cut from tip towards bottom 3/4 of the way down (for a fancier look, make a crosscut).

  2. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and liqueur in a bowl using an electric mixer, or in a food processor, until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag with a star tip. Pipe filling into each strawberry; arrange on a serving platter.
