We’re only a few weeks into January, but it already seems like 2024 is the year of the Oreo cookie. Oreo started the year by announcing three new products, including its first-ever new Cakesters flavor, a Black & White cookie flavor, and the addition of Gluten Free Golden Oreos to its permanent line.

Not only are there new cookies coming, but Oreo is also expanding its partnerships by releasing new baking mixes with Betty Crocker and new ice cream products

The minds behind Oreos must be working overtime because, after all those new products, milk’s favorite cookie isn’t even done yet. The brand just announced its fourth new cookie product of the year: an all-new galaxy-inspired Oreo.

What could a galaxy Oreo taste like, you ask? The new Space Dunk Oreos are made with blue and pink “cosmic creme” that’s marshmallow flavored and infused with popping candies that will burst when you bite into them. With the exploding flavors, it’s like a cosmic blast-off in every cookie.

Plus, the bright-colored creme and galactic-imprinted cookie really add to the experience. There are five different embossments, like spaceships and stars, and each cookie has a small cutout circle in the center so you can peer through the window into the galaxy creme.

Oreo's Space Dunk Cookies will be available for presale on Oreo’s site starting Jan. 23; then they will begin rolling out to retailers nationwide on Jan. 31. The special space cookies will only be available for a limited time.

We’re sure this isn’t the last time we’ll hear from Oreo in 2024. In fact, we know it’s not, as the brand recently announced it will have a commercial during Super Bowl LVIII. Oreo is teaming up with the world-famous Momager, Kris Jenner, for a new ad airing during the second quarter.

What do Oreo and Jenner have up their sleeves now? We guess we’ll have to watch the Big Game to find out.
