Jimmy John’s has been known to take holidays pretty seriously in terms of its limited-time and seasonal treats. Take Christmas, for example, when the brand launched its Peppermint Chocolate Cookie with that smooth chocolate and peppermint swirl and candy cane pieces that added the perfect sweet crunch. Now, Jimmy John’s has a new menu item and one returning treat we’re equally excited about that will help make Valentine’s Day a little sweeter.
Jimmy John’s New Red Velvet Brownie and Cookie
To help celebrate Valentine’s Day, Jimmy John’s released a brand-new Red Velvet Brownie while also bringing back the limited-time Red Velvet Cookie. These two limited-edition sweet treats join the other solid dessert offerings this sandwich chain is known for, including chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, and fudge chocolate brownies.

Both red velvet offerings are made with dark brown sugar, cocoa powder, and white chocolate chips and come in that rich red hue that’s perfect to mark the holiday of love. The website also states there is just a hint of vanilla in every bite for an additional flavorful bite.
Grab either one of these items (or better yet, both) now and throughout February, or while supplies last at participating locations or online. Prices for the Red Velvet Brownie and Red Velvet Cookie can vary depending on your location. If you’re in the New York City area, expect to nab each at $2.60.
Last year, the Red Velvet Cookie was a big hit online. The Instagram account @chowcago posted about the cookie and gave it a 7.1 out of 10, saying it has the “classic red velvet look” and was “nice and soft” while also mentioning how it did taste more on the vanilla side. Others were quick to add their comments, saying, “Yum!” and, “We wanna try!!!”
On a recent Reddit thread, self-identified Jimmy John’s employees discussed the red velvet offerings. “The red velvet cookies did so incredible at my store. Far and away the best cookie we sell,” said one person. Another employee echoed that by saying, “We were constantly running out of those cookies at my store.”
Many others excitedly chimed in, adding, “The cookie was my absolute favorite, and now that they’re bringing a new brownie I’m actually really excited.”
We’re ready to see what all the hype is about.
