Title: Editorial Intern
Education: Northwestern University

Emily Lichty is a summer 2024 editorial intern at Allrecipes, learning to turn her obsession with TikTok food trends, crafty kitchen hacks, and strange food combinations into a career.

Emily is a rising junior in the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, double majoring in Journalism and English. She is also pursuing a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications and plans to study abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the fall. She is a staff writer for Spoon Magazine and The Daily Northwestern, an award-winning daily newspaper at her college.

The kitchen equipment Emily can’t live without is her coffee maker. She has proudly lugged it from dorm room to dorm room. While she’s willing to be crafty when cooking, she can’t compromise on coffee!
