My wife loves this cheesecake. She insisted I make if for her Bunco Party and it played to rave reviews.I chose to use a package of cinammon graham crackers for the crust. Sometimes you need a contrasting flavor to really taste the chocolate. I also created the ganache with 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 3/4 of a cup of semi sweet chocolate. This gave the best balance between hardness and a spreadable ganache that so many users have cited as a shortcoming. I made the crust and filling the day before and made the ganache the day of. After spreading the ganache, I put it back in the fridge to cool.Everybody needs at least one chocolate cheesecake in their recipe box and this is mine. :-)

Spectacular! Followed the directions to a T. One deviation I made in later concoctions of this recipe was to ditch the zuchinni and substitute frozen green beans instead. The green beans add crunch to the meal and are readily available anytime. The zuchinni was kind of bland and didn't jazz up the meal like the green beans did. This meal has a really unique flavor and is a real treat to serve. Compressing the rice in 1/2 cup measuring cup and then setting it on top of the curried chicken makes for a great presentation.
You will be a French Chef when you finish making this meal. It is excellent! I didn't have chicken boullion, so I used a teaspoon of French Onion soup mix instead. While I prepared the meal for two, I would strongly suggest you make all of the sauce as if you were serving six because the two of us wolfed down the entire meal in one sitting. The sauce is over the top and sure to wow! :-)
As noted by another viewer, if you watch the end of the video the posted recipe calls for 2 1/2 cups of sugar. The recipe turned out great with the 2 1/2 cups of sugar so I would discourage using 4 1/2 cups of sugar.
The peach preserves turned out great! So tasty with lots of peach chunks in the preserves.
When the ladies in the neighborhood come up to you and tell you how much they love the scalloped potatoes your wife brought to the potluck, you know you have a hit. They know I do the cooking in the house.
I pretty much followed the recipe, but I used 5 large potatoes instead of 3. I also seasoned it with coarse black pepper because I like the look of the pepper speckles in the potatoes and I also sprinkled a lot of coarse black pepper on top for presentation.

Excellent! I don't like the idea of my blueberries being on the bottom of the pie and the custard on top so I was tempted to stir the blueberries in with the custard before pouring into the deep dish. I decided to follow the recipe to the letter and am very happy I did. There were plenty of blueberries bubbling to the top when I pulled it out of the oven.
Our guests, who have dined with us many times, implored us for the recipe - a first! The woman, who would usually bring a dessert to our dinner parties, said she was going to stick to bringing appetizers as she didn't want to compete with anybody who could make desserts this tasty.
This recipe is easy and produces spectacular results. FWIW, I used fresh blueberries from our garden.
