This was a really great dish EXCEPT for the fact that you should probably use real chicken breasts to make it taste better. I boiled it and seasoned it with pink Himalayan sea salt, garlic powder, garlic salt, and garlic sea salt (see a pattern here?). After letting it come to a boil and then bringing it down to a simmer for 15-20 minutes or so, I pulled it out of the pan and then shredded the chicken and continued to let it simmer on low heat while I prepared the casserole dish. After that the chicken was fully cooked through and it made everything much easier to mix, rather than if I cubed the chicken.
I didn't use onions, but more than likely will next time. Hence, the major usage of garlic seasoning.
I ALSO plan to use chicken broth with water to dilute it next time to boil it to give it more flavor.
I used French vanilla pudding mix instead, and threw in some white chocolate chip cookies as well. To make it more aesthetically pleasing, I pushed in some chocolate chip cookies after the mixture too. Another tip: instead of dropping them as rounded, I rolled them into a ball with the palms of my hand and then pushed down on them a little ]
