Added some celery to the mixture. Also rubbed baking powder on the chicken to give a crispy texture. Everything tasted wonderful although some of the potatoes weren't as tender as others. I think I needed a bigger roasting pan!

All can I say is I’ll never ever ever buy vanilla bean ice cream at the store again!! For best results, cut the amount of vanilla extract in half and use a whole vanilla bean to get that intense rich vanilla flavor!

I should’ve used more tomatillos for the sauce. I also broiled the peppers, tomatillos, and onions for the sauce mixture to give a smoky flavor. Also the potatoes were very tender after 45 min. I loved this especially on a cold day. Chef John you’ve done it again!

Pretty good although I’ve had better. It’s very easy to make and cheap. I would use a little more lime and a tad more cilantro next time. Still great with chips and used on my breakfast tacos. Tomatillos will be a regular on my grocery list moving forward!

I didn’t have chicken broth so used veggie broth instead. Still tasted amazing! The cold butter and parsley will take the sauce to another level so don’t skip that step! Chef John, you magnificent genius!
