Made these to pair with some Maple Bacon Moonshine Old Fashions. Everyone enjoyed this unique pairing. Before wrapping the cherries in the bacon and sticking them on the skewer, I smoked the cherries for an hour on my Traeger @180 degrees. Then wrapped in bacon, placed on the skewer. I upped the heat to 400 and threw the skewers back on. After 10 minutes, I turned them over and let them go another 10. I was using thick cut bacon, so I increased the heat to 450 for an additional 10 minutes before pulling them off the grill. Let them cool, and garnished our signature cocktails. They were a hit!

Very simple recipe. Good flavor. I added one small can of mexicorn.Could use a little more seasoning. I used red onion. Will definitely keep this in my back pocket as a go to.
I made this for a Saturday morning breakfast with a couple small changes. I did not have Corn Flakes or crumbs, so I ended up crushing some Cap'n Crunch cereal instead. Not bad, but I would definitely say the topping is optional.
I browned 1 lb. of turkey breakfast sausage and stirred it into the mixture. I also added another half cup of shredded cheese to the top of the casserole. I think this is a great basic brunch/breakfast recipe that can be tweaked. We'll probably be making it again soon.
Might try using condensed nacho cheese soup instead of the cream of chicken. Could also reduce the amount of onion, or saute them prior to take some of the bite out. Our friends are not huge onion people and I feel like I got a couple bites that were pretty strong.
Super simple recipe that was easy to adapt to the small amount of Squash seeds I had (1/2 cup). I feel like the surgar could be reduced. I added just a touch of Cayenne pepper to a small portion of the seeds, love the sweet heat!
