I made this for my boyfriend, and he loved it! I also made it at his house, which means a general lack of kitchen supplies.
If I had known it was that easy to flatten chicken literally by hand, I would have done it more. I used a plastic baggie between my hands and chicken and actually pounded it down. That was fun. lol
It took 2 eggs, and I didn't measure out the bread crumbs.
I can see myself making this again.
Before I start, I should mention that I made this at my boyfriend's, which means a general lack of kitchen items. I tried to make it as similar to the recipe as possible, but I didn't want to buy cornstarch. So I decided to forego the sauce altogether and just use syrup. It turned out pretty well! If I make it again, I would use less cream cheese- maybe 1 1/2 packages.
Turned out fine. Tastes fine. But not much a pear flavor. I used 4 Bartlett pears and all the measurements in the recipe. I omitted the pecans simply because I didn't feel like buying them. (haha) When it came time to mix in the dry ingredients, I got quite the workout, fyi.

As at least one other person said, there was not nearly enough sauce for the pasta. And I even used half the amount of pasta since I was cooking for two. During cooking, I realized there wouldn't be enough and quickly doubled up on everything- butter, wine (used Yellowtail Chardonnay and drank it with the meal), Parmesan.
I used whole grain linguine and pre-cooked, deveined, medium-large shrimp because it was much cheaper. I threw in the shrimp towards the end to heat them.
I served the dish with steamed broccoli, and it all turned out pretty well. The Parmesan did get a little "gloppy," if that makes sense. I would some other cheese next time.
I would definitely make this again, just with more sauce. I honestly think I should've at least tripled it because there is one serving leftover and not much sauce.
First time making bread. This recipe was easy enough to follow, except for the part about stirring in the remaining cups of flour and beating well after each half cup. I took that to mean- stir with a spoon (I used a wooden one) and then beat with a mixer. Neither worked very well after about one of the remaining cups, so I dumped the dough out and kneaded in the remaining cups by hand. I followed the ingredients exactly, and I can partially see what others have said about the bread being bland. But I don't think it's bland enough to add anything. I would make it again the same way. About the yeast, I don't think it every became "creamy." It just seemed slightly less watery. Also, I only had one 9x5 bread pan, so I shaped the loaves by hand and baked them on a baking sheet. I used parchment paper and sprayed on some Pam. Everything turned out really well! Great recipe!
