Creamy, smooth AWESOMENESS! Followed the directions exactly. My friends who have drank it for years say it's the best they've ever had! I did not taste the alcohol (which works for me!), but if you want to, add more rum.

I NEVER don't adjust recipes, and ALWAYS use the reviews, but because this one (1) had such a great rating and (2) had so many reviews, I didn't consult them. Maybe I should have. For me, this was just "ok." It just didn't seem to have much flavor. If I do make it again, I will consult the reviews to see if they help.

The family LOVED it! I love that I had everything on hand and it was super easy to put together. I did take the advice of other reviewers (I always read the reviews!) and reduced the sugar by half and reduced the cooking time. My Cuisinart pressure cooker did the job in 8 minutes.

I know that some cooks had a problem with this recipe, but it worked like a charm for me.

I use Allrecipes all the time, but this is my first review because it was so good. (Although I may be justifying the 3-1/2 hour prep, as my guests seemed to be underwhelmed.) But I write to let others know it can be great even with substitutions/omissions. I used one pound ground chicken instead of 1-1/2 pounds ground beef to save money on an expensive dish! I left out the mushrooms as everyone doesn’t like mushrooms. And I used no-boil lasagna noodles, which worked beautifully. My best lasagna yet.

So good, as is, I'm leaving my first review. As with others reviewers, I do mash the bananas first. This is the only recipe I've made from allrecipes that I don't change-perfect as is.

The turkey legs didn't fit into my crockpot, so I put the wrapped and seasoned legs into my dutch oven, set the oven at 200 degrees, and crossed my fingers! I had to leave for work, so I was REALLY nervous (afraid that I'd burn down my house!), but when I arrived home 9 hours later, the house was NOT on fire, and the turkey legs were wonderful!!!
