Added some poultry seasoning to the chicken before frying initially. It is very important to follow the times as some of my chicken was fried too hard so the gravy was not as thick as I wanted it initially, so I had to make an extra back of broth so the dish wouldn't be too dry.

Ran out of topping and I only used 1 lb of flounder. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't wow either. Followed the recipe exactly. Recommend doubling the seasoning, bell pepper, crackers, egg white, in addition to all the topping ingredients. Keep the crab amount the same. Also, opt for thicker cuts of flounder, or thicker (heartier) cut of fish like sole or halibut (steak).

I used half red BBQ sauce with have yellow mustard BBQ sauce!

great dish. surprisingly, and really didn't need the fish. the vegetables and flavor were sufficient and hearty. the fish was just an added bonus.
