Very easy and simple dish.Since I don't like frozen green beans I sub'ed fresh, amd I added two cloves of garlic minced, and found the need to add salt and a bit of black pepper at the end. All in all, very tasty - will make often.

Used a shoulder roast - increased time to 1 hour. Very good and no mess at all.

My changes were 1 cup fresh halved grape tomatoes instead of canned, about 4 cloves of garlic, 1 cup of sliced baby-bella mushrooms added with the tomatoes, and only 1 cup of the broth. Incredibly easy to make - tastes great, and looks nice on the plate. Thanks Jeanine!!!

A couple of changes - I used brown rice, fire roasted tomatoes, 3 cloves fresh garlic minced, and 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper for a little heat. Also, used Kraft fat free cheese (they won't be able to tell any difference). It was a winner with my friends after watching World Cup.

Steven Fortunato reviewed Cindy Faulkner’s Bacon-Roasted Chicken with Potatoes Recipe. 11/22/2014
Excellent! Easy! Quick! Modified it using what I had on hand. 2.5 lb boneless breast - cubed, fresh garlic, chive, & basil. Seasoning salt (no adobo), just a sprinkle of cayenne, and 1/2 pound diced bacon warmed up in pan to break apart . Only sprayed pan with a little olive on - figuringnthe bacon would take care of that. Tossed all together in baking pan and sprinkled top with black pepper and tumeric. Tossed again around 1/2 through baking to break apart chicken. My bunch devoured it!
