Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 16oz jar salsa
-
1 15oz can corn, undrained

1 15oz can cream corn

1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes, undrained

1 cup of water (if necessary)

Garnish:
-
shredded cheddar cheese, crushed taco shells or fritos, sour cream, jalapenos.
Directions

In large soup pot, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic on medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any grease (if necessary). Sprinkle packet of taco seasining mix and stir. Add the entire jar of salsa, both cans of corn and the can of tomatoes. Add the 1 cup of water if you like it more soupy. Simmer until hot. Top with the garnish and enjoy!
Cook’s Note
- You can even add in a can of beans. You can brown the ground beef then put everything else in the crock pot for a few hours on low.
