Super yummy, next time I'll make sure to purchase hot sausage, but I used sweet since thats what I had in my freezer, and I sprinkled red pepper flake on top of everything before putting it in the oven. Gave the chicken a nice little bite of heat. Also want to now try a Cajun version with andouille 😁
Absolutely amazing! I've made this dish twice, first time I cut the servings in half, second time I made full 8, per recipe default, and both times it came out perfect! This will definitely be a keeper going forward. My only critique would be to make sure that you have everything chopped up and ready to go before you start cooking because it will go quickly once you start!
Also, depending on your kitchen setup, you may want to have a helper to stir/sauté and/or clean as you go, because you will have multiple pans going at the same time and your kitchen will be a mess ??
All I can say is OMG! WOW! Super easy, most difficult thing was measuring the different seasonings, and mincing the fresh garlic. I served it with Rice Pilaf, and started with the rice as a side, and ended up moving it to the center of my plate, and topping it with the shrimp and sauce.
Already planning on making this exact same with grits next time!
