This was amazing! I’d definitely make it again. The only change was I used extra virgin olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Next time, I’d probably leave the cilantro out so people could add their own. I loved it, but my husband wasn’t a fan. ??
Very tasty! There are quite a few steps but it was totally worth it. The house smells amazing and our teens loved it. I didn’t have a lime, which I didn’t realize till the very end. And I also wasn’t able to get green onions or cilantro – so I’m sure I’ll have to make this again because I’m sure they would add even more great flavor.? I’d love to have this along with the garlic naan recipe I saw.?
This soup was amazing! I had doubled the recipe, and I would not suggest doing that as it completely filled up the crockpot to where it didn’t work. I had to transfer everything to a stock pot to continue cooking. If you don’t know this awesome tip for shredding chicken yet—put the cooked chicken in a bowl and use a hand mixer to shred. It’s so efficient!
There are definitely a lot of steps to this recipe, but it is totally worth it! My grandpa made Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes growing up and it has been my favorite meal. This recipe is very close to how his tasted. I used mild Italian sausage in place of the ground pork.?? completely forgot to add the sour cream to the gravy at the end – but it was amazing so maybe you don’t need it?? I doubled the batch so I can freeze for another meal.
This soup is amazing! We doubled it as we always love leftovers. I didn’t have chipotle seasoning so I substituted Cayenne pepper. I did end up adding a bit more water as it was so flavorful and once we added the cooked noodles, it needed some more liquid.? The sherry really makes it!
