1 pound ground beef (ground turkery, or soy crumbles can be used)

3/4 of a 1 lb. box of small pasta shells
-
2 14.5 oz cans diced tomotoes, undrained

Bring water to a boil in a large pot, cook pasta according to package directions. There should be about 1/4 of the pasta left in the box.

In a large skillet brown ground beef and onion until ground beef is completly browned, drain oil and return beef to pan.
-
Add the two cans of diced tomotoes to the ground beef.
-
Drain pasta and add it to the ground beef and tomatoes.
-
Stir and cook on medium heat until heated through.
Cook’s Note
- I like to add a diced green pepper and 2 cloves minced garlic in with the ground beef and onion.
