Made this today for a layered strawberry cake and this frosting was PERFECT!! Perfect consistency, perfect level of sweetness, perfect balance of whipped cream and creamed cheese, just PERFECT!! Thank you so much! So glad I went with this one over the 800,000 other recipes out there!!
Holy cow! This recipe is AMAZING! I did not have curry paste, so I added extra minced garlic, ginger, turmeric, onion, and curry powder ... also about a tablespoon of finely chopped jalapeno. The way this recipe is laid out and explained leaves nothing to the imagination. I love the way Emma organized it. I don't have a sieve or a mesh strainer/colander, so I lost about half of my lentils when I tried draining them from the pot. My boyfriend was on the way home so I quickly cubed 4 potatoes and sliced 2 carrots to compensate for the lentils which met their fate in the sink. It turned out fantastic! My boyfriend and roommate loved it! I loved it! Thanks so much, Emma, for sharing such a great and well-laid out recipe! You are awesome!
My stepson recently came back from serving in Korea, and requested this dish. I tried this recipe and he ADORED it. I am a vegetarian, and used the sauce with some tofu. It was PHENOMENAL. A very tasty dish. Preparing it without the red pepper flakes will take some of the heat out for those who are not into spicy foods. I found that without the red pepper flakes, the heat was just right for my taste.
