I loved this recipe! I had really small mangos so I ended up using 4 instead of 1. I put the mango in last so I just kept adding it until the proportions looked right. We absolutely loved it! I decided to just use lime instead of lemon and didn’t actually measure.
This is my go-to recipe for brownies. I love them chewy and have never found another recipe that can compare to the perfection of these! Don't overtake though or they are hard and dry.
After reading the reviews, and since I am in Europe, I used a 90 gram package of cream cheese (which is about 3 oz), 1/4 tsp peppermint extract, and 500 grams of powdered sugar. I also used the idea of flattening them with the waffle side of the meat tenderizer. They turned out just right!
Living in a place where canned soup isn't available, I substituted a box of tomato sauce. After reading reviews, and not having instant rice at home, I cooked regular rice in the rice cooker. I also added corn. I decreased the water to 3/4 cups since it wouldn't be absorbed by the rice cooking. Good basic recipe to start with.
I was given a big bag of cornflakes and needed a quick and easy treat for the kids to take to their Christmas party. This recipe was perfect! I dropped them by spoonful but next time I might press them into bars so maybe they would hold together better.
