Delicious! Served with a scoop of ice cream on top. I used 6 fresh juicy Georgia peaches, which was a little more than 6 cups. I added a little bit of corn starch, nutmeg, and cinnamon to the peaches. I also tossed some chopped pecans over the peaches before I added the topping. Definitely a keeper. Worth trying with other fruits too.
This was just not my cup of tea, and my family didn’t care for it either. The flavors didn’t go together. Perhaps I could have chosen a different brand of sauce and may have liked it better. Sorry.
This is soooo good and very easy too! I did not add pepper, based on the recommendation of another reviewer. I had fresh juicy Georgia peaches on hand, so I used two peaches and held them over the bowl while I peeled and sliced them so the juice would run into the bowl. I did not add any liquid besides that, and the dish was plenty moist. I did what someone else recommended and just mixed all the ingredients together. While mixing, the sweet potatoes pretty much fell apart almost like they were mashed, and the consistency was very nice. Will definitely make this recipe again!
Very tasty on chicken or with tortilla chips. I made a 1/4 batch. Used 1/2 a red pepper and left out the green pepper. Did not use any pickling spice. I do not care for sweet salsa, so I only used 1/8 c vinegar and 1/4 c sugar. It was still a bit sweet for my taste but good nonetheless. I may try it again sometime and leave out the vinegar and sugar. I also added some minced garlic. My family really enjoyed this salsa. Thank you for the recipe.
Very good and easy. Using rotisserie chicken makes this extremely easy. I used pecans in place of walnuts, because I had fresh Georgia peaches and pecans on hand.
This was delicious and very easy! I used rotisserie chicken. I didn’t have cream cheese or walnuts so I substituted Greek yogurt (honey flavor) and pecans. The honey added a touch of sweetness which went well with the peaches and pecans. My only complaint is that the serving size was too small! It left me wanting more. Will use more chicken next time. I served this on a bed of lettuce/spinach mix. My peaches and pecans came in on a shipment from The Peach Truck, which delivers fresh Georgia peaches and pecans to the Midwest. Spectacular flavor and supreme juiciness in the fruit.
