I followed the measurements to exact purportions and my batter was thick wouldn't pour. I splashed 1/3 cup milk and mixed enough to get it to pour into cast iron skillet 450 @ 20i min ( 5 min before it was ready I added a sprinkling of sharp cheddar) using an old GE stove - husband said it was the best he has had! Thank you for posting this truly tasty ready recipe bottom didn't burn

Amazingly tasty & easy batter - coats so well - tried it for catfish fillets! Hubby couldn't believe ingredients were minimal! A must for a quick fry- going to try in my air fryer next - just had to use the old fashioned way 1st . keeping it in my special cooking drawer!

Just made a 2nd batch - so easy so delicious and no fuss clean up - win win - husband loved them

I made it again this time added 1/3 cup of chocolate baking chips - there was nothing left of this super moist banana bread
