Well this is just delicious, and cooking honey just leaves the whole house smelling amazing. The only amendment I would make is a slightly lower amount of flour. I had a really hard time spreading it thin enough to be able to do the 8 layers and got 5 dense layers instead. The flavors are on point and the cake was still incredible, but this was the struggle I had with it. Also, this recipe really made me appreciate a double oven and enough pans to keep the process moving smoothly.

I have made this recipe twice now and the second one was much better. You must make sure that you spend the necessary time to really trim this cut. Sometimes butchers really do a poor job of dressing these up.
