These cookies are delicious! My grandson said I’m the best cookie baker in the whole world!I doubled the batch so I had plenty to share.The only thing I did different was I chilled the dough for about an hour (I needed a little break) that is it. These are the best cookies ever! I made them for my wedding day and they were so amazing! Everyone raved about them. I used fresh lemons for the juice. They are delicious with and without the glaze. My husband and I didn't get enough of them so I'm making us some! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe! Made these again. Now our friends are hooked! Absolutely devine! This is so awesome! I love to make quick breads and this is going down as one of my favorites! I made two changes the second time around. I diced peaches and threw them in and I used half white and half brown sugar. This is probably one of the prettiest loaves of bread I have ever made. I will definitely be making it again! I also love the versatility with this recipe. No matter what you add it comes out amazing! Thank you Cathy!

Yum! I made these like the recipe but I mashed the bananas. Pretty loaves too!
