I have made this several times and it's wonderful! It's easy and impressive! One of my favorite appetizers! I do tweek it just a little bit by brushing with melted butter/garlic powder and toasting the bread slightly on both sides prior to adding the topping. I also add a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar to the top!

I had this sauce in Italy on vacation last year and fell in love with it. Chef John's video's are Awesome and recipes are easy to follow ..... love allrecipes.com because they have "normal" recipes to help me be a great cook! Because there's quite a bit of chopping involved, I double (or triple) the recipe and freeze leftover sauce for a future date. It freezes well! Enjoy!

I made this recipe using chicken thighs and it was really good! Easy enough to do and very impressive with all the colors! Would definitely make again!

This carrot is is Awesome!......as good as any fine restaurant! The only modifications I made were cutting down on the sugar a little bit, using 3/4 cup white and 3/4 cup brown sugar AND I always use applesauce in my recipes, so I added 2 small 4 oz containers which makes the cake healthier and very moist!

Delicious! The only things I changed were.......I cut down on the white sugar and put 1/4 white and 1/4 brown sugar.....added 1 more banana just cut up (3 total).and I didn't have walnuts in the house, so I used chopped pecans. Thanks for the recipe....it's definitely a keeper!

My neighbor brought this to my house and we loved it! I made it tonight and it was Wonderful! This is my new way to make corn on the cob from now on! The only thing I changed was not using chili and substituting a blend of chipotle and spices I had specifically for corn on hand.
