Thank you for a wonderful recipe not using canned products Helpful (1) faaiza reviewed Elaine’s Ginger Pear Bread Recipe. 01/28/2020 Excellent! Wonderfully light in texture and very moist. Nice ginger flavor. Very mild pear flavor. Due to personal preference instead of 1/3c oil and 2eggs, I used 1egg and 1/2c lowfat yoghurt (based on general recommendations of yoghurt replacement: 1cup vege oil with 3/4c yoghurt; 1egg with 1/4c yoghurt). This may have made my bread less dense but I doubt changed flavor much. Saving this basic receipe to remake as is and also try as banana or zucchini bread. Thank you! These are however NOT scones- texture is completely different and too moist. They are nice little breadlets with some hint of sweetness, something like madelines. Their selling point is they are very very light ( I had 3 in one sitting!!). Flavor is ok- hardly any pear flavor but that's not the recipes fault- thats just how pears are :) Helpful (0) faaiza reviewed TINA B’s Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole. 12/08/2019 Thanks for the recipe. Easy to make and delicious. I used cream instead of milk and served it as a dessert. It’s too sweet for a side dish Helpful (0) Ratings & Reviews 16 see all Absolutely Delicious Green Bean Casserole from Scratch 01/28/2020 Excellent! all my guests loved it even the kids- it was gone before all the other vege sides at Thanksgiving.
