Very simple recipe and common ingredients. It took me almost an hour to make it mosty because I used regular dry pasta. Had to add about 1 cup of water more. But it came out perfect.I was very surprised how smooth, creamy the sauce was, ideal. When it comes to the taste, fond is the key. Not the booze, just the fond. I think it can be awesome even without the broth, just with water. But the fond has to be perfect.I added vodka but maybe my taste sense isn't sophisticated enough to feel it in the dish ;) Forgot to add sour cream on top :P

Definitely a keeper! Common, simple ingredients, easy to follow instructions. I changed nothing and it was perfect. I recommend double the ingredient amount right away during the first attempt because it's too good and you'll be sorry if you eat it all at once.
One of my favourite Chef John's recipes! Almost effortless, extremely tasty and flavorfull. Only fev ingredients but the amount of product is very satisfying. Tried with various pasta shapes: spaghetti, fusilli, this time with gnocchi, awlays tastes incredibly. Gnocchi shapes pair very well. Such a awesome dish when you need to make dinner for a group of family/friends or for the beloved one. My husband loves it

My first ever contact with cornbread (it's not a famous recipe in my part of Europe) and I have to say - it was so good! Not too dry, not too spongy, pairs so well with Chef John's couliflower gratin and some random chicken&gravy. Super easy to make, just mix it and throw in the oven before the main dish. I added half finely ground corn flour and half coarse cornmeal, it came out perfect.

Explosion of flavors! One of the best chicken classics. And the ingredients are so simple and easy to find!
