Chick-fil-A is a standout when it comes to fast food. Between its top-secret seasoning blend, the chicken, and its cooking method that uses peanut oil, this chain is often considered in a class of its own.

Recently, Chick-fil-A has been in the news, and for good reason. Not only has there been talk about the fast-food chain upping its prices (thanks to a new double-wall paper cup), but your go-to chicken joint may also be required to remain open on Sundays in the near future.

Now, Chick-fil-A is making headlines once again, but this time around, it’s all about a fan-favorite menu item that is reportedly making a comeback, and die-hard fans can’t wait.

Chick-fil-A Brings Back Mango Passion Sunjoy

Instagram user Markie_devo posted online that Chick-fil-A will soon be offering its popular Mango Passion Sunjoy drink for a limited time.

The refreshing beverage combo of lemonade and unsweetened iced tea mixed with the fruity flavors of mango and passion fruit made a brief appearance back in 2020 and will soon be back on the menu from Jan. 8 until April 6, 2024.

We can’t wait to get a chance to sip on this drink which, by the way, can also be ordered as a frosted lemonade version, which consists of all the same ingredients as the non-frozen version but with Chick-fil-A's signature Icedream dessert with a sweet vanilla flavor.

Many users commented on this post that they were surprised that this was ever on the menu: “Never knew this had even existed in the past lol.” But on a recent Reddit thread, an alleged Chick-fil-A worker said that this drink is not new but was not officially offered either: “We were allowed to make these in 2020 but it was operator discretion!”

While we agree with some comments on the Instagram post about this being an interesting “fruit choice for January,” we’re with the rest who are excited about giving it a try. “Sounds like a summer drink...I'll take 10,” said an excited fan. Nothing helps cure those winter blues quite like sipping on a fruity drink and pretending we are in a tropical oasis.
